The Beautiful Mudgee Region

There’s so many reasons to come to Mudgee for a getaway. Firstly join one our tours to see Mudgee’s finest cellar doors, then immerse yourself in all things Mudgee. Mudgee won “Top Tourism Town” two years in a row in 2021 and 2022 and was the first town inducted in to the Hall of Fame because of this feat. With many cafe’s to choose from for breakfast and lunch, there’s also a huge choice of restaurants to have dinner at.

Some of our most famous being the Pipeclay Pumphouse and The Zin House both very popular in peak times so booking well in advance is highly recommended. Mudgee is not limited only to cellar doors supplying delicious wines, but we also have Breweries and a Distillery as well! Please note; some places including cellar doors are only open Friday - Sunday.

If your into nature and walking, Mudgee has brilliant walking and cycling tracks around the town, and we are only short drives to Ferntree Gully Reserve at Rylstone with Gangaddy-Dunn’s Swamp and Windermere Dam (Cudgegong Waters Park) also being in that general direction.

Gulgong also has much to offer in history and museums along with The Drip walking track at Goulburn River National Park.
